Google’s new Nexus 7 tablet is on the shelf and awaits your hard-earned lolley. Just as well the new updates are worth it. Aside from a whole bunch of geeky features you’ll never use, the Nexus 7 now comes with a ramped-up 1.5Ghz quad-core S4 Pro processor (techno speak for something fast), a screen with a much better resolution than its predecessor and surround sound created by the inventors of the MP3, Fraunhofer. The Nexus 7 runs on Android’s new 4.3 Jellybean operating system and is available in 16GB and 32GB wi-fi versions at a cost of £199 and £239 respectively. A 32GB 4G version is in the proverbial pipe.
