Announcing the world’s first 3D pen

While we wait for the expected onslaught of personal 3D printers to hit the market, here’s a cool product that does much the same thing using a pen and multi-coloured rods of plastic. The 3Doodler 3D printing pen works like a glue gun, except the molten plastic that oozes from the pen’s nib can be fashioned into anything you fancy; within reason, of course. It’s probably hard as hell to use but we’re always up for a challenge. The 3Doodler retails at $99 and has just started shipping, so get your order in now.
